Adam Sanders is a filmmaker and photographer based in Leavenworth, Washington, with roots near the headwaters of the Mississippi River in central Minnesota. His work blends adventure sports, travel, and outdoor lifestyle with a documentary-driven style—he especially loves telling stories about passionate individuals making a difference in their communities. After his first paid shoot capturing senior portraits in high school, Adam went on to spend several years living and working in New Zealand and Australia before returning to the U.S. in 2020. Over the years, he’s partnered with brands like Arc’teryx, Outward Bound, and Vail Resorts. When he’s not behind the camera, you’ll find him trail running, rock climbing, scuba diving, or paragliding.
