Jackie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. If you think that’s a mouthful, you should see her adventure resume, which spans from splitboarding in Argentina, riding the Tahoe Trail 100K mountain bike race, and hiking the Sierra High Route. Jackie has spent much of her career working as an environmental science educator—most recently at Sierra STEM—and is currently working toward becoming an Avalanche Instructor for the American Institute of Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE). She lives in Mammoth Lakes, California.
