Hailing from New Hampshire and currently based in Lander, Wyoming, Katie Oram heads up Better Trail’s sustainability program. Before joining the team, Katie served as the Program Manager of the NOLS Rocky Mountain Campus; she’s also a NOLS wilderness expedition instructor, ACMG Certified Rock Guide, Founding member and volunteer of the Lander Climate Action Network, and former instructor and curriculum developer at Teton Science Schools. Katie graduated from St. Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology. Among all her other accomplishments, Katie’s also a certified crusher: She’s free-climbed Mount Hooker in the Wind River Range, skiied in the Waddington Range, and regularly sport climbs on her backyard limestone.
