Gear Tester & Photographer
Langdon Ernest-Beck, a lifelong resident of Ellensburg, Washington, is our resident multipotentialite. Only in his mid-20s, he’s already a talented furniture builder, a skilled photographer, and possesses the special skill of initiating and executing big trips. And by big, we mean really BIG: In the summer of 2023, Langdon and his friend Jeff climbed all 100 of Washington State’s highest peaks—by bike. They logged 499,000 feet of elevation gain and over 2,700 miles in 71 days in one of the most remarkable feats of logistics and endurance that no one has ever heard of. This past summer, Langdon upped the ante even more, recruiting his from Ben to bike from his front door in Washington to climb British Columbia’s tallest peak, Mt. Waddington (and then bike home). You can read about Langdon and Ben’s adventure here, and learn more about Langdon on his website.
