Photographer
Matthew Tangeman is a documentary-style photographer, videographer, and above all else, an adventurer. Growing up in Wenatchee, Washington, he learned to ski at the same time he learned to walk, first picked up a camera as a ten-year-old, and began summiting some of the North Cascades' highest peaks, solo, as a teenager. Matt’s prowess both behind the camera and in the elements shows through his photography, whether he’s snapping photos of his climbing partner in Patagonia, cruising beside pro skiers in the Tetons, or keeping up with mountain runners as they scamper across exposed rigdelines. He’s currently based in rural Southwest Colorado, where he seeks out work with local businesses and non-profits and puts his journalism degree to use by telling stories with photos and film.
