Mikhail Martin is a rock climber and ultrarunner based in New York City. Among his laundry list of accomplishments, he’s bouldered V11, raced in two NYC Marathons, and made a self-supported attempt of the Shawangunks Ridge Trail. Mikhail is the Co-Founder of Brothers of Climbing and the Color the Crag Climbing Festival, two initiatives that have been powerful in promoting diversity, inclusivity, and community in the outdoors. Along with another Better Trail gear tester, Stefen Jean-Pierre, Mikhail recently competed on Race to Survive, a survival reality show set in the harsh New Zealand backcountry. Mikhail is a Software Engineer with over a decade of experience in the tech industry. Originally from Queens, New York, he now resides in Brooklyn.
