Rebecca is a climbing guide for Jackson Hole Mountain Guides and backcountry ski guide with Yostmark Backcountry Tours and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Before she started guiding professionally, “Guda” (as she’s known among friends) was a full-time NOLS instructor and taught courses all over the world—her favorite of which was a 30-day backpacking expedition in the Indian Himalaya. Before that, she was a New Hampshire high school state champ in ski racing. But before we give you the impression that Guda only lives and breathes climbing and skiing, think again: She also has a background in the culinary arts, manages a coffee shop in Victor, Idaho, and makes a very mean oat-milk latte (we know from experience). Rebecca and her husband Tony live in Victor, Idaho.
