Gear Tester & Photographer
Sarina is a social worker by day and moonlights as an adventure photographer and co-director of Queer Mountaineers, a group dedicated to creating inclusive spaces in nature for the LGBTQIA+ community. She knows her local mountains like the back of her hand, especially the North Cascades, where she loves sleeping up high and getting up early for a sunrise scramble. Sarina has tagged notable summits like Glacier Peak, Mt. Baker, and Mt. Shuksan, backpacked the Wonderland Trail and Teton Crest Trail, led a group of women to Everest Base Camp, and completed the challenging Ptarmigan Traverse. Sarina is originally from Minneapolis but now lives in the Capital Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Washington.
